The Body Elite wellness philosophy stems from the culmination of my experiences as a teacher, a wellness professional, and as a formerly overweight, out of shape person struggling for support and making small changes one day at a time. My own journey taught me exactly what it takes to improve one's physical, mental and emotional health and body image. Every area of my life improved drastically when I took charge of my own health. Becoming healthier inside and out gave me the clarity, focus, and courage to begin to live life on my terms and has had a dramatic effect on my personal and professional life. I have witnessed the same with clients that choose to take charge of their health and make positive changes in the right way for them. The physical results, for me, as for many of The Body Elite clients, although profound, are a secondary benefit.
I am convinced that many people are taking a poor approach to healthcare and fitness. Why? Because 95% of people that walk through my door are so tired, sick, stressed, and in pain that they cannot live the life of their dreams. We tend to run from one activity to the next in our lives, while trying every quick fix to mask the symptoms our bodies are giving us to tell us to slow down. Based on the work I have done with hundreds of people over the years, these quick fixes are not helping us feel better and live longer. What does transform our lives is slowing down and taking better care of ourselves. Part of this involves proper exercise and nutrition done in a motivating setting. This is what our team is committed to.
My personal experiences and the fact that I know I can help others have a better life are why I started The Body Elite and why we do what we do. We are very HONEST and REAL with our clients. Sometimes you have to get very real and honest with yourself to wake up and change. I grew tired of seeing people so discouraged with spending all their money and not feeling or looking better. I grew tired of industries and companies that tell us we can undo the effects of 20 or 30 years of bad habits and behaviors in a few weeks. That is why we teach our clients how to exercise and eat the right ways for their individual physical and mental well being.
Our team brings a tremendous amount of passion, honesty, and commitment to those we work with. Becoming personally invested in every client's goals and progress toward those goals is something we embrace. We believe defining yourself, your life's path and living authentically are the foundations for achieving anything you set out to do. This starts with taking care of your most precious asset, your health! You have to live in your body, and no one can take care of your body as well as you can!
As any client that has worked with us will affirm, we support you to the fullest and hold you accountable throughout your program and beyond as you continue to progress on your own. We believe consistency in healthy behaviors and mental outlook on life are the keys to longevity. Central to our philosophy as wellness professionals is teaching you to become "independently healthy" by giving you the tools and education needed to become empowered and in control of your own health.
